As we have such a diversity of climate on this island, we are able to replicate the many different temperature regions of the world and so grow a wide variety of plants. Many of the famous garden designers, like Capability Brown, dreamt up garden ideas which the world then copied. Garden visits are big business here and there is a plethora of travel firms using cheap hotels in their packages to show people our stunning gardens.
